Our Soulful Culinary Journey

KatOra’s Catering is a love letter to legacy—born from the names and spirit of two extraordinary women: Katherine, the late mother of founder Carlton Hamilton, and Ora Bell, his cherished grandmother. The name KatOra’s honors the strength, grace, and culinary artistry that these matriarchs brought to every gathering, every table, and every soul they fed.

Rooted in the rich tradition of Southern hospitality, KatOra’s is a celebration of the women who shaped Carlton’s life—from the kitchens of Katherine and Ora Bell, to the continued inspiration of his grandmother Mattie Pearl, and the many women who made magic at family cookouts with cast-iron skillets and timeless recipes.

From them, Carlton inherited more than a passion for cooking—he inherited a sacred duty to preserve and elevate their legacy. At KatOra’s, food is more than a meal—it’s a soulful experience steeped in culture, connection, and love.

Specializing in refined Southern cuisine, KatOra’s features deeply flavorful favorites like slow-simmered collard greens, creamy baked macaroni and cheese, and perfectly crisp Southern fried chicken—dishes that evoke home, yet present with polish.

This is Southern cooking with elegance, soul, and unmistakable heart.
